We appreciate your interest in staying at The Stacks.

Please ensure you read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

These terms outline the agreement between the guest and The Stacks. The contract becomes valid once payment has been received from the guest.

All booking requests are subject to availability. A booking request becomes a confirmed contract only after The Stacks has accepted the request and full payment has been received.

Once confirmed, the guest is responsible for the entire cost of the stay as detailed on the invoice provided at the time of booking.

We strongly advise taking out holiday cancellation insurance.

If a cancellation is made more than 3 months before your scheduled stay, a full refund will be issued for the amount invoiced.

If a cancellation occurs between 3 months and 6 weeks before your stay, 50% of the invoiced amount will be refunded.

Cancellations made within 6 weeks of your stay will incur the full cost of the booking, and no refund will be provided, regardless of whether the cabin is re-let.

In circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather or other unforeseen events, The Stacks reserves the right to reschedule the booking to a mutually convenient date of equal value to the original reservation.

Payment in full is required at the time of booking unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon. Until full payment has been processed and cleared, the booking remains provisional and may be canceled with prior notice. Once payment is confirmed, the booking is finalized.

Check-in begins at 3pm on the day of arrival. Upon arrival, please visit the main house, where your hosts will welcome you. Keys will be available in the secure key deposit box attached to your cabin. If you plan to arrive outside the check-in window, please inform us at the time of booking or the day before your arrival.

Check-out time is 11am on the day of departure.

Guests are kindly requested to leave the cabin clean and in the same condition as they found it upon arrival.

Please be mindful of other guests during your stay.

Guests are responsible for securing the cabin when away from the site. The Stacks cannot be held liable for any personal belongings brought onto the property. Guests are also expected to leave the cabin in good condition. Any damages or breakages should be reported to The Stacks as soon as possible.

The Stacks reserves the right to charge for significant damage or excessive wear and tear.

We encourage guests with limited mobility to contact The Stacks prior to making a booking, as access to all cabins involves navigating steps.

Open fires are strictly limited to designated fire pits. Guests found lighting fires elsewhere will be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

To ensure the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabins. Failure to comply will result in a £250 fee for deep cleaning of soft furnishings. Guests who smoke outside or near the fire pits are required to dispose of cigarette butts properly in designated bins. Littering is not permitted.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the property.

Guests have exclusive use of their eco-lodge and the surrounding field.

During the summer months, pathways are mowed for leisurely walks around the eco-friendly grounds.

The grounds are a sanctuary for ground-nesting birds, including skylarks and nightingales.

Guests can also access nearby footpaths leading to local woods and other scenic areas.

Please do not litter on the premises or in the surrounding area.

Any issues should be reported to The Stacks immediately so that they can be addressed promptly. Compensation will not be provided for complaints raised after the stay or if the guest has not allowed The Stacks an opportunity to resolve the matter during their visit.

We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the cabins are as safe as possible.

I have read and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above on behalf of all members of my party during our stay at The Stacks. I understand that full payment is required at the time of booking, and failure to provide payment may result in cancellation. I confirm that I am over 18 years of age.
